Unspoiled nature dominates the long coastline of the Etruscan Coast. The wind that blows lushly from the Tyrrhenian Sea brings with it the ancestral history of these places and a strong salty breeze. The White Beaches between Rosignano Solvay and Vada emerge like a white oasis amidst the greenery of the wild Mediterranean scrub. The Val di Cornia Park, a vast area of rare beauty, is home to various sites of archaeological and naturalistic interest. Populonia, one of the most renowned Etruscan-Roman cities, and the stunning Gulf of Baratti tell the story of the people who settled there. Further inland, medieval villages perched on the rolling hills dominate this area from above. Suvereto, in the heart of the Livorno Maremma, is recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Sassetta is a small, wooded village with a great treasure: beneficial thermal waters gushing out at 50°C, rich in trace elements and minerals.
