The Val di Cornia Park, a vast area of rare beauty, is home to various sites of archaeological and naturalistic interest. Populonia, one of the most renowned Etruscan-Roman cities, and the stunning Gulf of Baratti tell the story of the people who settled there. Further inland, medieval villages perched on the rolling hills dominate this area from above.
