Uncontaminated nature dominates the long coastline of the Etruscan Coast. The wind that blows lushly from the Tyrrhenian Sea brings with it the ancestral history of these places and an energetic salty breeze. The White Beaches between Rosignano Solvay and Vada emerge like a white oasis in the greenery of the wild Mediterranean scrub. The Val di Cornia Park, a vast area of rare beauty, is home to various places of archaeological and naturalistic interest. Populonia, one of the most renowned Etruscan-Roman cities and the wonderful Gulf of Baratti, tell the story of the past of the populations who settled there. Pushing inland, the medieval villages perched on the rolling hills dominate this area from above. Suvereto, in the heart of the Livorno Maremma, is certified as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Sassetta is a small wooded village with a great treasure: thermal and beneficial waters flow at 50°, rich in trace elements and minerals. The famous cypresses of Bolgheri inspired the words of Giosuè Carducci in the poem “Davanti a San Guido”.
